New Luxury Rolex GMT-Master II gold watches

New Luxury Rolex GMT-Master II gold watches

Rolex is on fire at the 2023 Watch Fair. There are many great versions of the core of the collection, and GMT-Master II is no exception. This year, we saw two new variants, and both in one of our favorite materials – yellow gold! The Rolesor (two-tone) 126713GRNR and the all-gold 126718GRNR models are here.
Speaking of the GMT-Master II, who doesn’t like a little gold on their Jubilee? Well, I do, and it seems that Rolex has answered the call. If we think back to the Rolex GMT-Master II commercials from the 80s and 90s, commercial pilots were pictured with black jackets and gold details on their wrists, often complimenting Rolex’s two-tone watches. For me, watches like the 16713 with a black dial on a Jubilee strap exude elegance and professionalism, something we all want from our pilots.
First up is the lovely GMT-Master II 126713GRNR. We have the regular 40mm stainless steel GMT, but it now comes with the comfortable Rolesor Jubilee strap. In keeping with the theme, the bezel is made of Cerachrom with 18k yellow gold knurling. Surprisingly – and you’ll find this on both new models – the ceramic is divided into black and gray! Yes, Rolex has another surprise for us! Yes, Rolex has brought us another two-tone bezel. A nickname, anyone?
As you can see, the dial is black with plenty of gold details, such as the hands, the indexes surround and even the model name font at 6 o’clock. A quick look at the strap reveals a lovely gold stripe down the center. In both models, the precise chronometer-certified 3285 automatic movement works with its 70-hour power reserve. Water resistance remains the same at 100 meters. Pricing is set at 16,150 euros.
The second release of the GMT-Master II is the all-gold 1267718GRNR, which is a highlight. Well, it is an expensive stunner! This is the same watch as the new GMT-Master II! This watch is the same as the new Rolesor model, but without the steel found, only the gold. Like the two-tone model, it brings a new two-tone Cerachrom bezel in black and gray.
Calls for a stainless steel model with a black and red “Coke” bezel have once again gone unanswered, and the supposed leak of a right-handed “Sprite” is in fact wrong. Instead, we have a nod toward the more luxurious side of the GMT-Master II. Frankly, I like these, and for whatever reason, I’ve come to really like the GMT-Master II’s Jubilee strap. It’s much more comfortable for me due to the smaller links, and I’ve grown to like the look of it. Yes, I’d love to see a real brown dial GMT again, but these are some lovely additions.

Rolex Daytona 116509 White Dial

Rolex Daytona 116509 White Dial

Rolex has used several luminescent materials over the decades, including the controversial radium, tritium, and even the current standard Super-LumiNova. however, in 2008, the company brought this aspect of production in-house by introducing Chromalight, a unique photoluminescent material. Today, all replica Rolex watches with luminescent displays are equipped with Chromalight, including the Daytona 116509, a material known for its vivid blue glow, as opposed to the green glow of other materials.Chromalight also glows continuously for eight hours. At the same time, it stays clear and white during the day.
The dial of the Daytona 116509 is also marked “Oyster”, which means it has a Rolex water-resistant Oyster case. The case is equipped with Rolex’s patented “Triplock” screw-down crown and has three water-resistant zones. The case is water-resistant to 100 meters/330 feet and is also resistant to the extreme temperature variations that can be encountered when driving a professional race car. Together with the paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring, the Daytona will keep perfect time in almost any activity.
However, anyone who has looked at the pre-owned market recently understands that Rolex watches have incredible resale value. The situation is no different for the pre-owned white gold Daytona 116509. Older discontinued dial models, such as the “Racing Dial” with Roman and Arabic numerals, start at well over $40,000, while the collectible Rolex 116509 meteorite dial model is currently valued at around $60,000.
Therefore, purchasing a white gold Rolex Daytona 116509 can be a worthwhile investment. Not only does the white gold face add serious value to your watch case, but the design of the copy Rolex Daytona chronograph is downright legendary.
From the impeccable silhouette of the 116509 made of precious metal to the super engine running inside, the white gold Daytona is a watch that exudes cool confidence. As Rolex continues to upgrade all of their pillar models, and with the 60th anniversary of the Daytona just around the corner, it will be exciting to see what Big Crown does next with this famous chronograph.

Fully functional Rolex GMT-Master II Luxury watches

Fully functional Rolex GMT-Master II Luxury watches

Rolex has updated its popular travel watch, the GMT-Master II, with a steel, blue and black “Batman” bezel. We tested one of the first pieces with a Jubilee strap and a new movement in this feature.
The blue and black color combination on the bezel of this Rolex GMT-Master II has led its fans to dub it “Batman”. The current version comes with a Jubilee strap and a new movement, launching in 2019. Its predecessor with these same colors appeared in 2013 and was the first Rolex model to feature a two-tone ceramic bezel. This particular color combination did not exist before. The first imitation Rolex GMT-Master II in 1954 featured a blue and red 24-hour scale and was later dubbed the “Pepsi” for this color combination. These colors were originally chosen to more clearly distinguish between day and night time in a second-time zone.
Today, the GMT-Master II steel watch is available in two versions that differ only in the bezel’s color: the Pepsi and our test watch, the Batman. Both are equipped with a new movement and a five-row Jubilee strap that was once reserved only for the Datejust model. Rolex previously equipped the gold and Rolesor GMT-Master II models with the sportier three-row Oyster strap.
So, Batman or Pepsi? The color combination on the Batman is more reserved; the Pepsi is closer to the original. The Jubilee strap is very comfortable to wear. Its small links fit snugly and don’t pull on delicate wrist hair. The Oyster bracelet is also comfortable thanks to its curved links. The bracelet and case are still made of non-corrosive 904L stainless steel, which replica Rolex watch has recently started calling “Oyster Steel”.
The high-quality clasp on the Jubilee bracelet is near perfect in both workmanship and operation. When closed, the folding safety lever is integrated into it. Opening the safety lever by lifting the clone Rolex crown reveals a lever that is also easy to lift to fully open the clasp.
The winding crown is also easy to use, and after unscrewing it from the locked position, the watch can be wound. In addition, with the GMT-Master II, the bezel can temporarily set another time zone. For example, if you are in the United States and working with a company in Europe, simply turn the bezel so that the GMT-Master II displays the time in the desired time zone, and you will know at a glance if your business contact is available. All in all, the GMT-Master II offers extremely useful time zone functions.

The Most Excellent TAG Heuer Connected x Porsche Edition

The Most Excellent TAG Heuer Connected x Porsche Edition

TAG Heuer has recently announced a special edition of their latest Calibre E4 Connected smartwatch, highlighting the brand’s longstanding relationship with Porsche. Meant to offer extra smartwatch-derived features for owners of modern Porsches, the new TAG Heuer Connected x Porsche Edition has been styled in a manner reminiscent of the Porsche Taycan, the brand’s first fully electric production model.
Based on TAG Heuer’s top-spec E4 generation of the Connected smartwatch, this new Porsche Edition has a 45mm titanium case with a ceramic bezel and a sapphire front crystal. Thickness is 15.3mm, and within those dimensions, we find a 440 mAh battery, an ARM Cortex A53 processor, and a 1.39-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 454 x 454.
Core functionality builds upon Google’s Wear OS, with a suite of functions supported by a heart rate monitor, a compass, accelerometer, barometer, gyroscope, microphone, ambient light sensor, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and NFC. Inputs can be made via the touchscreen, the crown, and the chronograph-style pushers.
The Porsche-specific functionality is linked with the Porsche app and features an exclusive shortcut that allows you to control the temperature of your car from the watch. Additionally, the app supports “complications” that can show things like your Taycan’s battery level or your car’s remaining range and mileage. The app and smartwatch integration works with several late-model Porsches, including the 991.2 (and on), 911, and the Taycan (as of model J1 and onwards). For a complete list of models, hit the link below.
Given the ever-increasing levels of technology and connectivity that we see in modern cars, this partnership feels like a sensible extension of the apps offered by many automotive manufacturers so that owners can monitor and control various elements of their vehicles.
Also, though I’ve had only very limited experience with electric cars (I still prefer replica watches that tick and cars with a stick), the charging scenario seems to be a paramount concern for many owners, so I have to imagine it would be nice to have your battery level just a glance away, especially if you’re killing time as you wait for a quick charge.
Add in all the other things that a modern smartwatch can do – like sports tracking, health metrics, media controls, home automation, notifications, activity tracking, and more – and the Porsche element becomes just one layer of functionality for the latest generation of TAG Heuer’s future-forward luxury smartwatch.

Rare Tropical Dial Rolex Watches

Rare Tropical Dial Rolex Watches

Here begins the auction of four rare “tropical dial” Rolex watches from the 1960s and 1970s that have just entered the market. The replica Rolex Sea-Dweller saturated dive watch debuted in 1967 with the “Double Red” model. 1665. The dial mounted on this example also began to change from matte black to tropical brown, especially around the edges and date window.
The Sea-Dweller features a helium drain valve, which allows it to meet the unique challenges of saturation diving and is more water resistant than Submariner watches produced in the same era.
Finally, we have a Rolex GMT-Master ref. 1675 that features the Tropical Mark I “Long E” dial. The stunning matte dial has gone from black to an even chocolate colour, and the tritium lume has aged to a beautiful beige hue that complements the rich tones of the dial face itself. Interestingly, the red part of the “Pepsi” bezel is fuchsia, something we see on some best replica watches from this era. With so much character between the brown dial and the beautifully aged fuchsia bezel, this watch is also very popular.
Avid antique collectors will also appreciate that this particular example has its original date wheel with hooked 7 and closed 6, as well as its original riveted Oyster strap.

Why are Rolex watches so expensive?

Why are Rolex watches so expensive?

Regarding luxury watches, some of the most common questions are, “Why are Rolex watches so expensive?” and “What makes Rolex prices so high?” The simple answer is that fake Rolex watches are expensive because they are some of the finest timepieces in the entire world. In addition to the advanced patented technology and the perfect level of finishing that goes into each model, the Rolex brand itself is highly reputable and universally acclaimed. Rolex watches are internationally recognized as status symbols synonymous with excellence, success, and exclusivity. Producing a watch of this outstanding quality is inherently expensive, and as you might expect, the cost of purchasing one for yourself requires a similarly significant investment.
Below, we will discuss the exact price of Rolex watches and why these iconic luxury timepieces can be so expensive.
Luxury watches are usually quite expensive, and no Rolex watch can be considered cheap. The cheapest model of a brand new Rolex would cost around $5,000 if purchased at retail, but Rolex is by no means the most expensive luxury watch brand in the world. Many manufacturers have watches that cost far more than Rolex. Given the long waiting lists for many of the brand’s top models, many people believe that Rolex watches are underpriced.
In addition, the enormous premiums people are willing to pay to skip the waiting list lets you know that many people value Rolex far more than the monetary value of its retail price. For some buyers, Rolex pre-owned prices may not be ideal, but when you consider everything about replica Rolex watches – the quality of the materials used, the craftsmanship of each watch, the tradition of innovation behind them, and the global status of the brand – do they cost as much as people think they do?
Like other manufacturers, Rolex produces a range of products that cover various price points. The cheapest men’s model, the Oyster Perpetual, currently costs between $5,000 and $6,000 brand new. That amount will get you stainless steel, time-only watch (if you’re lucky enough to find one available for sale).
Given Rolex’s price range, none of the brands’ watches can be fully described as “cheap” – and that was before we started looking at the vintage market, where the sky is the limit. Rare pieces and those with intriguing backstories tend to fetch incredible prices.
One thing that remains unchanged? copy Rolex’s low inventory. Even though the company produces about 800,000 watches annually, that’s still not enough to meet current demand. It means the chances that a pre-owned Rolex purchased now will still hold its value in a few years are still high. Brands like Rolex should continue to appreciate value, just as before the boom in resale values kicked in in 2020.

TAG Heuer’s watch for The Wolf of Wall Street

TAG Heuer’s watch for The Wolf of Wall Street

The Wolf of Wall Street is filled with clocks and replica watches, except they’re not the usual suspects. The film begins with 22-year-old Belfort, whose career is in its infancy. On his first day of work, he meets his first boss and we meet our first watch.
Famed watch enthusiast Jonah Hill plays Donnie Azoff in the film – the white-toothed, exaggerated former children’s furniture salesman who quits working for Belfort after seeing his vintage Jaguar. Many people noticed that his watch was a gold Rolex Daytona. According to Griffin, these people would be wrong. As is the case in many Hollywood productions, Azoff’s watch is a replica. That’s a shame, of course, but also appropriate for a somewhat pretentious character.
The main horological attraction is undoubtedly Belfort’s two gold watches. He wears one for most of the second act and the other in the third. Like Azoff Daytona, one of Belfort’s watches has been misidentified: many watch fans say it’s a gold Rolex GMT Master with a silver strap. It’s not a bad guess until you remember that DiCaprio is a TAG Heuer ambassador.
The easiest way to spot the difference between the two Belfort watches is the bracelet. This watch has larger links and a polished center section, not the Jubilee. Griffon recalls that the TAG Heuer watches sat in a safe in his prop trailer for almost a year after filming until Paramount called and said they were needed for a photo shoot (the gold-plated TAG Heuer 1000 watches appear so clearly on the film’s theatrical poster that you can see the brand on the dial).
Just as Belfort starts to feel a little cute about his finances, we get a great glimpse of the TAG Heuer Professional 1000. As DiCaprio narrates his character’s stock manipulation scheme, we find Belfort on the golf course with his hometown crony – ahem – business partner (01:05:28). Brad (Jon Bernthal) hands him a canvas bag with money, which Belfort calmly opens and then tosses into the back of his golf cart. As he does so, his gold-plated TAG glistens in the tri-state sun.
At the end of the film, FBI agent Patrick Denham (played by Kyle Chandler) manages to turn Belfort into an informant, or, in another rodent’s parlance, a rat. When the FBI explains to Belfort that he needs to hand over his accomplice (02:35:04), you can see the replica TAG Heuer 2000 and its diamond bezel glittering on Leo’s wrist as Agent Denham puts a wire on him – presumably not for long.

What Makes a Rolex Watch Worth the Cost?

What Makes a Rolex Watch Worth the Cost?

Buying a luxury watch can be daunting, especially if you are unsure of what to buy. You don’t want to purchase a watch that you will later regret and then struggle to resell. Unlike other brands, fake Rolex is one of those brands that can guarantee that your watch will last and be made with the finest craftsmanship.
Rolex is now ranked as the 71st most valuable brand in the world. You ask someone to name a luxury watch brand and nine times out of ten they will say Rolex. It does seem to be better known than other designers, such as Omega or Patek Philippe.
Over the years, Rolex hasn’t really changed the design of its actual watches. Instead, they chose to make subtle changes that only watch enthusiasts would notice. Rolex replica watches are among the most counterfeited watches in the world, so it is important that you know what you are looking for so that you are not sold a fake that claims to be a real watch. Real Rolex watches often have tiny details that are hard to replicate, so pay attention to those details.
Rolex watches can be a good investment because most watches depreciate in value over time, but not Rolexes. Depending on the watch you choose, Rolex watches can even increase in value over time, depending on factors such as uniqueness and design. To make sure you get the best out of your watch investment, make sure you take good care of your watch box, receipts, and paperwork. With that said, don’t worry about actually using your Rolex – after all, they weren’t made to sit in the back of the closet untouched.
The easiest way to ensure that the Rolex you buy will make you money is to buy a slightly unique or limited edition watch. Rolex often releases watches that are limited editions, or only a certain number of watches. This type of watch is bound to be a good investment as people always tend to buy products that no one else owns, which is a simple concept.
If you are buying a new watch, there is not much room for bargaining on the price. However, if you are buying a used watch, there is often more wiggle room on the price. The entry price for a new Rolex is around £3,000, but there are not many price guides for second-hand copy watches. Set yourself a budget and see which watch fits that budget.
If you want a Rolex and have the budget, then this is a classic choice and a great luxury watch. Any watch can be considered “worth it” if you want it badly enough. Plus, it’s one of the most practical accessories you can buy.
