Anise BreadThis is an excellent tea bread. 2 eggs
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon aniseed
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder Beat together eggs and sugar. Add flour, baking powder and aniseed. Bake at 375 degrees F for 20 minutes in greased and floured loaf pan. If desired, place slices of bread on buttered cookie sheet and heat a few minutes on each side just before serving.
